We use no chemical herbicides or pesticides and only organic fertilizers.
WE ARE LOCAL
We propogate 99% of our plants right here on our farm in southwest Missouri.
WE ARE FAMILY-OPERATED
Our staff consists of Barb and Don Emge, and son Matthew. We don't intend to compete with the big box stores.
WE LOVE VARIETY
We have over 200 varieties of herbs and 60 varieties of scented geraniums.

Yes we will be open again this year but not til the first of May. Planning my Mom's 100th birthday party in St. Louis, a recent death in Don's family and a fractured right wrist after Barb's trip over a hose filling the ducks' pool, have put us behind this year. Our plan to sell at Bakers Creek Spring Festival is not possible.either.Please excuse typos since typing with my left hand isdificult.The excessive heat has slowed seed germination in the greenhouse which was over 100 degrees yesterday with fans running.We are moving as much outside as possible and praying for no frosts. The shadehouse is full and my black walnut tree which provides shade for many of our plants has not even leafed out yet.
