                         2025

                                                       May 22,2025

We will be open this Saturday, May 24 from 9am-1pm unless there is a change in my Mom's health. We are always available for appointments only at other times.

Barb's 99 yr old Mom is now in Hospice, so we have had to change our hours to ask our customers to call or contact us by text, email or Facebook messenger  for an appointment to purchase plants. We will still have a wide availability of herbs for sale for the rest of the summer.

                                                             February 9, 2025

We're busy potting up Scented Geranium, lavender, rosemary, oregano cuttings this week. We're also planting the seeds of 20  varieties of basil, parsley, sage and many other unusual and common herbs.Much to our surprise, volunteer tomato plants have popped up in several tubs and one even has blossoms on it. We've been keeping the greenhouse at around 55 degrees at night but when the sun is out, it heats up to the 90's so I guess that's why the tomatoes are blooming. We will have a few Bay trees, which we successfully separated from the tangle of roots on our 45 year old Bay tree with more to come from another nursery later in the season.

Our lavender and rosemary plants in the garden survived the bitter cold covered by frost blankets and old quilts on the coldest days so far but we'll have to cover them again later this week.

We will be at Baker's Creek's Spring Planting Festival on May 4 and 5 this year. We also plan to attend some Saturday Markets at the Farmer's Markets of the Ozarks on Republic Road in Springfield on some Saturdays in April and May if they have space for us as day vendors. And of course we'll be open here at home probably from 9am-1pm on Thurs, Fridays and Sat during April and May as well as by appointment only through the summer.

We'll post our opening date later this spring.
