We will be open for pickup of herb plants starting Saturday, April 25 by appointment only in order to maintain social distancing and may possibly do this until a vaccine or reliable med is available for the virus since we are both in the vulnerable groups. I aplogize to those of you who have placed orders and I've told you that the plantsaren't ready yet. This year has thrown our routines off. We usually attend festivals in April and start our season with an Open house at the end of April and go to markets in mid May. We are growing most of the varieties listed in the catalog but plant seeds according to when certain more tender herbs can be planted outside so most basils, peppers and a few others aren't big enough yet or haven't sprouted in our outdoor beds to be dug up.So this may mean another trip out here to get all you want. We have also had difficulty in getting online orders for plants ourselves promptly due to seed houses being overwhelmed by orders this year. Thank you for your patience.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak and the fact that we are both within the high risk category, we are postphoning the start of our sales til near the end of April. We will not have Open Houses this year or attend Farmers Markets but we will fill orders at some point. We'll probably have a table set up in the driveway for orders, will wear gloves when bagging up pots and label the bags for you. You'll be able to pick up the plants and we ask to be paid by check only this year. You'll be able to either call or email your orders. We will have a large supply of Scented Geraniums especially the Mosquito Shocker and Skeleton Rose, lots of basil and mint varieties as well as the others listed in the catalog section. We'll post our start up date later.Thank you for your understanding. Stay well.
